As part of William Kentridge's exhibition during the XVII edition of The Morelia's international Film Festival, a projection element was commissioned to us for the display of Second Hand Reading piece.

The brief was very straightforward: To design a simple and clear element that could be easily built on site with local materials and manufacturers. 

Initially, we studied on depth the work of the artist in order to design an object that could relate conceptually and aesthetically to his works. This, as a starting point set the ground for the design and materiality of the object. Later on, hand in hand with the manufacturers and the artist's team, we conceived a final product that not only complies with its main technical purpose, but also manages to dialogue harmoniously with the rest of the exhibition elements and art pieces on display during the show.

The screen element was reproduced for the show: Waiting for the Sibyl and other stories, 2020 at the Lia Rumma Gallery in Milan, Italy.
