The project entailed a comprehensive renovation, breathing new life into the apartment while honoring the timeless charm of the historic palazzo it inhabits.

The design embraced the pre-existing layout, which offered a nowadays-less-common sense of spatial independence. Each room was envisioned as a distinct entity with its own identity and character. This individuality, however, is united through a meticulously crafted design language: the repetition of square tile modules, each uniquely interpreted to suit the function and atmosphere of the space.

A thoughtful interplay between artisanal craftsmanship and industrial processes informed every design decision. Materials sourced from local suppliers were carefully chosen to create a harmonious balance between tradition and innovation, celebrating Milan’s rich design culture
